David O’Brien is a "friend of sinners." A father and spiritual father. Someone who inspires beyond what people feel or see of themselves, so they can be the Superhero they are destined to become, a lighthouse for others in the dark of night.
My Story
I believed in Jesus as a kid but was not educated in God’s Kingdom or ways. So I followed what I saw of the world around me, eventually fell into their traps, and suffered their same pain.
Then, while in High School, Jesus came to me and rescued me. He had been asking me to change, coming into my room. And one night I accepted his help—the best decision I ever made.
The next morning I “accidentally” found a Bible and started reading at 2nd Corinthians. I was hooked, and couldn't stop reading for about three weeks straight. My eyes were so opened powerfully, that I started telling everyone about Jesus. This made me lose friends and some family, but I didn’t care. I had started experiencing God, and that was all that mattered now!
But there were so many truths I had not yet discovered, and lies in my thinking that had not been uprooted. So I suffered ups and downs!!! Experiencing freedom in some areas but failures in others at times, caused me extreme frustration!!!
But as I walked forward anyway, over time I discovering the missing keys I needed, and I transformed...
The Devil's Mistake
...My weak areas became strengths. Over time, the most stubborn areas became my passion to free anyone else trapped in a box they don’t understand. The opposition against me unlocked the giant within me. What was meant for evil was turned for my good, and that of others!
Today, I love sharing the simple Truth of God's Message with accompanying signs & wonders. But I also find extreme joy in helping people out of media or relationship traps, with God’s way that WORKS!!!
A New Beginning
As a kid, my parents were pastors and did street ministry in San Francisco, USA. They cared for down-and-outers and took in strangers. The impact of all that has remained in my spirit to this day. I will always be thankful they taught me about Jesus and prayed for me when I needed it most!!!
After the Lord came and rescued me, he immediately linked me with various Bible teachers' materials that helped me grow. Eventually, I came across Richard Wurmbrand's book, "Tortured for Christ" and newsletter, and my life was forever changed. He became a mentor to me by his writings, and I was privileged to spend time in person with him and his wife, Sabina in 1996.
Shortly after this, God miraculously linked me to a wonderful couple, RC & Sheila Wedner, in Oregon. They "took me in," and RC mentored me and oversaw my life and ministry. Dale M. Sides's apostolic teaching was fueling my growth for those three years, along with RC's shepherding and mentorship.
During those years, I also had the great opportunity to meet my spiritual father in faith and ministry, Ap. Charles Ndifon, an extraordinarily wonderful Man of God who I work closely with today.
At that time I also encountered Bro. David Hogan and heard of the great miracles happening in Mexico among the Aztec and other native tribes. He also became an extremely valuable mentor to me. Derek Prince was also extremely helpful by his teaching. Joyce Meyer, Rick Joyner, Graham Cooke, and, of course, Dr. TL Osborn—our spiritual grandfather—all contributed majorly to our development.
Africa
Under the Wedners' care, I grew enough to start going on powerful oversees missions. A connection through Richard Wurmbrand opened the door to S. Sudan to me during its horrible civil war. I travelled there as part of an apostolic team, also to Sudanese refugee camps, Uganda, Kenya and the Democratic Republic of Congo, in that season. This was all while I was in university.
China
Then, when nearing graduation, the Lord Spoke to me to move to China.
I lived and served for several years in China, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, with the blessing of RC Wedner and the other equippers with him.
I learned the language and culture of China, grew, and used the tools I had acquired. Those were formative years of training, testing, learning and growing in endurance! I also met my wife, Sonia, there in China—God's gift to me for going out on a limb with him, where the greatest fruit is born.
Back in The States
Upon return to the States, I began serving in East Africa again. And I obtained an MBA in preparation to take care of my future family. A door also opened in India, where I spent considerable time and served on several occasions.
Every season of a disciple's life contains education, refining, new discoveries, and challenges, and these things were always present in our lives. Sonia and I began conducting both home meetings and outreach ministry in Portland, Oregon. We also travelled together to India, Uganda, South Africa, and Australia with the Gospel during those years.
In 2018, we travelled to Mexico to work with Bro David Hogan and his team of apostles, reaching out to the native peoples of Mexico. This was a major blessing as I had been mentored via his teaching materials for many years!!
With Dr. Charles Ndifon, Ap.
In 2020, another phase of our lives began as we moved to Rhode Island to serve in the HQ of the ministry of our spiritual father, Dr Charles Ndifon. A true apostle, he and his wife, Pst Donna Ndifon, founded Christ Love Ministries, Intl. (CLMI) and Kingdom Embassy Intl. (www.Christlove.org, www.PSOM.org).
We travelled with them around the world, conducting "Festival of Miracle" meetings and bringing the Gospel with power to hospitals, governments, open-air events and conferences. In 2022, for example, we went to a deaf-mute orphanage in Embu County, Kenya, and all 128 of the children there were healed. We went to the hospital there and discharged and led people to the Lord Jesus.
Though recognized right away as apostolic, we took the opportunity to stay and receive "post-phd" training under their oversight there for a period of six years.
Sonia and I served as leaders and wherever needed, including children's ministry. We taught in the regular meetings, shepherded, and were hosts for over 10, consecutive Power School of Miracles events (www.PSOM.org).
Today I serve as an Asia Director in Christ Love Ministries Intl. We are partnering with others with the goal to bring the Good News with powerful demonstration to the masses there, for the King and His Kingdom!
Royal-Freedom
In 2023, by God’s advice, I started a coaching business to package the many things he had taught me over the years, for the royal freedom of his People!
I began coaching 1 on 1 and holding group mentorship-courses, yielding a harvest of many miracles, changed lives, and testimonials!!!
Through supernatural-Life coaching, by the Name of Jesus, I have effectively helped people walk free from
